Condo Insurance
Condo policies insure real property such as building additions, alterations or installations, as well as improvements to your unit. Plus it protects personal property like clothes or furniture. In the event of a fire, explosion, tornado or other insured catastrophe that damages your unit, it pays for a substitute place to stay. Some policies even pay damages to those harmed on common property if they exceed the liability limits of the condo association’s policies and potentially leave you on the hook for additional payments. If you own a condominium, a unit in a cooperative housing development or a residence in some other form of common ownership development, you need to talk to us about protecting yourself and your investment with special policies just for condo owners.
